For many years, Skyline Express has been hard working to install and optimise safety programs way above goverment standards. Our confirmation from the german goverment as a "R.B" came into effect march 1st 2008. Hence we are fully qualified to handle and control airfreight in Germany.
This status was again renewed in May of 2010.
The confirmation is valid until 2013, which is the longest possible period of time granted by the authorities. It is hence granted that all air freight shipments handled under this status by us will not have any delays and our clients will enjoy the usual service standards of Skyline Express. The authorities confirm this status also for the reason that we use own vehicles for the full voyage of any airfreight shipments and so are not reliant on any further truckers etc. For our clients and partners this status is very important to assure that all cargo handled is in the best hands possible.
With the confirmation of our AEO status on the 17th of march, Skyline Express is on the highest possible level of supply chain security granted to any institution in Europe.
In 2008 Skyline Express also joined the private security initiave TAPA EMEA. This is a must for handling of any high value cargo and gives prior warnings on all european routes regarding risks etc.
